SmarterUni targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The marketing site, learner dashboard, and mission rooms are audited quarterly. Live video sessions provide auto-captioning and human-corrected transcripts within 24 hours.
What that means in practice
- Keyboard-navigable for every interactive surface.
- Visible focus rings; never
outline: nonewithout a replacement. - Alt text on every meaningful image; decorative images marked
aria-hidden. - Color contrast ≥ 4.5:1 for body text, ≥ 3:1 for large text and UI.
- Motion can be reduced with
prefers-reduced-motion; parallax respects it. - Forms have associated labels, error messages, and inline guidance.
Known gaps
- Some legacy diagrams in archived posts lack long descriptions — backfilling in progress.
- Auto-generated captions for live sessions can lag by 5–10s; human-corrected version is canonical.
